According to statistics, there are approximately 50 000 to 100 000 flats missing in the Czech Republic. The housing shortage is mainly caused by the slow construction of new housing, the growing demand for housing, and rising real estate prices, which make housing less affordable for many people. The situation is not much better in terms of industrial construction.
One of the basic prerequisites to get the current rigid construction market moving is, in addition to adjusting legislation for faster construction management, innovation in the form of digitalisation and the adoption of modern construction methods that offer speed, efficiency, sustainability and accuracy. This is also why Light-Gauge Steel Framing (LGSF) technology is increasingly being used around the world.
AUKLAN's thin-walled structures are manufactured in an industrial production hall environment that enables engineering precision and quality. Here, the pre-assembly of metal structures and the creation of prefabricated parts, known as "2D-panels", take place simultaneously. The form of transport of wall, partition, ceiling and roof steelwork components to the site is purely up to the client's requirements, the components can be delivered individually or partially or maximally assembled within the confines of a transportable mould.

Samostatné i předmontované jsou vykládány ručně nebo za pomoci menší mechanizace a uskladňovány na prokládkách, aby se zabránilo kontaktu se zemí. U 2D-panelů je manipulace a přeprava sice složitější, nicméně i přes to je AUKLAN systém řešení připraven tak, aby nedocházelo ke zdržení provozu na staveništi. Kompletizované stěnové a stropní dílce (2D panely) jsou přepravovány v přepravních koších, a to z výrobny až na staveniště, kde je celý koš přemístěn jeřábem na místo uskladnění.
The individual parts are then moved from the basket to the actual installation site as required. The basket itself is then taken back by our company, so that no further care is needed on the part of the client.
Every millimetre counts in the construction of steel structures. That is why we take over the foundation slab, concrete base slab, piles or ground screws before the actual implementation. We focus primarily on their flatness and integrity. We then install the wall elements on rubber pads on these construction-ready foundation conditions. These include perimeter load-bearing structures, intermediate load-bearing walls, load-bearing and non-load-bearing partitions. This is where we consistently check the flatness and angular accuracy to the millimetre for each structure.
Engineering precision in construction is crucial for us at this stage, as even a millimetre inaccuracy, whether in corners or spatial fitting, would be quickly detected when the next part is fitted. The rubber pads under the structures serve to compensate for millimetre inaccuracies and also prevent moisture from the foundation structures in contact with the steel sections. This prevents long-term exposure to ground moisture that could cause localised damage to the surface finish, which is factory-treated by hot-dip galvanising at a thickness of 20-30 micrometres at a density of 400g/m2.
