Auklan as a gold partner of the opening conference FOR ARCH 2024

This year’s 35th edition of the prestigious FOR ARCH construction fair was held in the spirit of innovation and development of the Czech construction industry, and Auklan was honoured to be a golden partner of the opening conference.

One of the main points of the program was a panel discussion, which was attended by the CEO of AUKLAN Mr. Jaroslav Jíra. Together with other experts from public administration, representatives of cities, municipalities and the most important players on the market, he focused on the issue of subsidies and design solutions for affordable housing in the Czech Republic.

"Efficient residential construction of private and rental housing, as well as projects of additions to existing townhouses using Auklan technology, can help with the issue of affordable housing," Jira said.

He added that buildings made of thin-walled steel structures have several unquestionable advantages over conventional brick construction. First and foremost is the speed at which Auklan is able to build its homes, secondly the significant reduction in the environmental footprint due to the recyclability of steel, but most importantly due to the LGSF (Light-Gauge Steel Framing) buildings themselves already meeting the 2030 building requirements.
